Because I believe in Him, I now have everlasting life, and I will not perish.

---
2. (1 Pet. 3:18 NASB) 18For Christ also died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust, so that He might bring us to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit. *Christ died for my sins…the just for the unjust. His death for my sins was sufficient to make me just and to bring me to God. His death for my sins has made me just and brought me into God’s presence.

---
3. (Heb. 9:26-28 NKJV) 26He then would have had to suffer often since the foundation of the world; but now, once at the end of the ages, He has appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself. 27And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment, 28so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation. *The sacrifice of Christ was sufficient to put away my sin. Through His one offering to bear the sins of many, all the sins of my lifetime have been atoned for.

---
4. (Heb. 10:10 NKJV) 10By that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. *The offering of the body of Jesus Christ was sufficient to sanctify me. I am sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ.

---
5. (Col. 1:21, 22 NKJV) 21And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled 22in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight. *The death of Christ was sufficient to reconcile me to God, and to make me holy, blameless, and above reproach in His sight. I am now reconciled to God, and I am holy, blameless, and above reproach in His sight.

---
6. (Rom. 5:6-11 NKJV) 6For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. 8But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. 10For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. 11And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation. *Christ died for me when I was an ungodly sinner and an enemy of God. His blood is sufficient to justify me, reconcile me, and save me from wrath. His life is sufficient to save me forever. I am justified and reconciled to God. I am saved from the wrath to come.

---
7. (Isa. 53:4-6 NKJV) 4Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. 5But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed. 6All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, every one, to his own way; and the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. *Jesus bore my sickness and carried my pains at the same time He was wounded for my transgressions, bruised for my iniquities, chastised for my peace, and striped for my healing. All of my iniquity was laid on Him. His being wounded was sufficient to take away my transgressions. His being bruised was sufficient to take away my iniquities. His being chastised was sufficient to bring me peace. His being striped was sufficient for my healing. My transgressions and iniquities are forgiven. I have peace with God, and I am healed.

---
8. (1 Pet. 2:24 NKJV) 24who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed. *The bearing of my sins in His body on the tree is sufficient for my death to sin and for me to live for righteousness. The bearing of stripes on His body is sufficient for my healing. I confess that I am dead to sin, I live for righteousness, and I am healed.

---
9. (John 1:29 NKJV) 29The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! *The sacrifice of Christ as the Lamb of God is sufficient to take away the sin of the entire world, and that includes the entirety of the sin of my lifetime. The Lamb of God has taken away my sin.

---
10. (Isa. 53:10-12 NKJV) 10Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise Him; He has put Him to grief (made Him sick). When You make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in His hand. 11He shall see the labor of His soul, and be satisfied. By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many, for He shall bear their iniquities. 12Therefore I will divide Him a portion with the great, and He shall divide the spoil with the strong, because He poured out His soul unto death, and He was numbered with the transgressors, and He bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors. *He was not only bruised for my iniquity, but that same bruise was sufficient for the healing of my sickness. His soul being made an offering for sin and His bearing of my iniquities was sufficient to justify me. The pouring out of His soul unto death was sufficient to give me life. His being numbered with transgressors was sufficient for me to be numbered with the righteous. His bearing the sin of many was sufficient for the remission of all of my sin. His intercession for transgressors was sufficient for my right standing with God. I am healed. I am justified. I have life. My sin is remitted. I am righteous.

---
11. (1 Cor. 5:7 NKJV) 7Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us. *The sacrifice of Christ my Passover is sufficient to make me truly unleavened from sin, and for God to pass over me in judgment. I am truly unleavened and God has passed over me in judgment for sin.

---
12. (Gal. 3:13, 14 NKJV) 13Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), 14that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. *Christ being made a curse for me is sufficient for the blessing of Abraham to come upon me, and for me to receive the promise of the Spirit by faith. I am redeemed from the curse of the law, and I am blessed with Abraham’s blessing.

---
13. (2 Cor. 5:21 NKJV) 21For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. *Christ being made sin for me is sufficient for me to become the righteousness of God in Him. I am the righteousness of God in Christ.

---
14. (1 Tim. 1:15 NKJV) 15This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief. *Christ coming into the world to give His life for sinners is sufficient to save me from my sin. Christ has saved me from my sin.

---
15. (Rom. 15:3 NKJV) 3For even Christ did not please Himself; but as it is written, “The reproaches of those who reproached You fell on Me.” *The reproaches (the shame, infamy, disgrace, censure, contempt, and derision) that I deserved for reproaching God with my sin fell on Jesus. Jesus bearing the reproaches that I deserved is sufficient to free me from reproach for sin. I am free from shame, infamy, disgrace, censure, contempt, and derision.

---
16. (2 Cor. 8:9 NKJV) 9For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich. *Christ becoming impoverished on the cross is sufficient for me to made rich. I am redeemed from poverty.

---
17. (Rom. 3:24-26 NKJV) 24being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, 26to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus. *The redemption that is in Christ Jesus is sufficient to justify me. His being set forth as a propitiation by His blood is sufficient to justify me through faith in Jesus. I am justified.

---
18. (1 John 2:1, 2 NKJV) 1My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. 2And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.

*Christ being made the propitiation for the sins of the whole world is plenty sufficient as the propitiation for the sins of my lifetime. The demands of justice that were against me have been satisfied, and the wrath of God has been removed from me.

---
19. (2 Cor. 5:14, 15 NKJV) 14For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; 15and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again. *Christ’s death and resurrection is sufficient for the death of my old man and sufficient for me to no longer live for myself but for Him.

---
20. (John 12:31, 32 NKJV) 31“Now is the judgment of this world; now the ruler of this world will be cast out. 32“And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself.” *Christ being lifted up on the cross is sufficient for the judgment of the sins of the world, and for our deliverance from the dominion of the ruler of this world. My sins have been judged on the cross, and I am delivered from the dominion of the ruler of this world.

---
21. (Heb. 1:3 NKJV) 3who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high. *The offering of Christ is sufficient to purge my sins. My sins have been purged by the offering of Christ.

---
22. (Matt. 20:28 NKJV) 28“just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.” *The giving of Christ’s life was sufficient to ransom me from sin, Satan, and death. I am ransomed from sin, Satan, and death.

---
23. (Col. 2:13-15 NKJV) 13And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, 14having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. 15Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it. *God removed my certificate of debt, the handwriting of requirements that was against me, by nailing it to the cross of Christ. All of my sins have been nailed to the cross.

---
24. (Eph. 2:14, 15 NKJV) 14For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, 15having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace. *Christ abolished in His flesh the enmity that existed between God and me as defined by the law; thus making peace between us.

I am a citizen of heaven.
(Phil. 3:20 NKJV) 20For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
---
14. I am free from sin.
(Rom. 6:6,7 NKJV) 6knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin. 7For he who has died has been freed from sin.
---
15. I am a member of Christ’s Body.
(Eph. 5:30 NKJV) 30For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones.
---
16. I am adopted by God.
(Eph. 1:5 NKJV) 5having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will.
---
17. I am accepted by God.
(Eph. 1:6 NKJV) 6to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.
---
18. My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit.
(1 Cor. 6:19 NKJV) 19Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?
---
19. I am the friend of God.
(John 15:13, 14 NKJV) 13Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. 14You are My friends if you do whatever I command you.
---
20. I am one of God’s own special people.
(1 Pet. 2:9 NKJV) 9But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
---
21. I am an ambassador for Christ.
(2 Cor. 5:20 NKJV) 20Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.
---
22. I am forgiven.
(Col. 2:13 NKJV) 13And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses.
---
23. I am a king and a priest to God.
(Rev. 1:6 NKJV) 6and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
---
24. I am healed.
(1 Pet. 2:24 NKJV) 24who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed.
---
25. My old man was crucified with Christ.
(Rom. 6:6 NKJV) 6knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.
---
26. My old man died with Christ.
(Rom. 6:2, 3 NKJV) 2Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? 3Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?
---
27. My old man was buried with Christ.
(Rom. 6:4 NKJV) 4Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
---
28. I was made alive together with Christ.
(Eph. 2:4, 5 NKJV) 4But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved).
---
29. I was raised up together with Christ.
(Eph. 2:6a NKJV) 6and raised us up together,
---
30. I was seated together with Christ.
(Eph. 2:6b NKJV) and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.
---
31. I am God’s workmanship.
(Eph. 2:10 NKJV) 10For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
---
32. I am complete in Christ.
(Col. 2:10 NKJV) 10and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.
---
33. I am one of the elect of God.
(Col. 3:12 NKJV) 12Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering.
---
34. I am holy and beloved.
(Col. 3:12 NKJV) 12Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering;
---
35. I am washed from my sins by the blood of Jesus.
(Rev. 1:5 NKJV) 5and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood.
---
36. I am of the true circumcision.
(Phil. 3:3 NKJV) 3For we are the circumcision, who worship God in the Spirit, rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.
---
37. I am truly unleavened.
(1 Cor. 5:7 NKJV) 7Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened.
---
38. I am qualified to be a partaker of the inheritance of the saints.
(Col. 1:12 NKJV) 12giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.
---
39. I am preserved in Christ.
(Jude 1 NKJV) 1Jude, a bondservant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to those who are called, sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ.
---
40. I am a member of the household of God.
(Eph. 2:19 NKJV) 19Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God.
---
41. I am anointed.
(2 Cor.1:21 NKJV) 21Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God.
---
42. I am sealed with the Holy Spirit.
(Eph. 1:13 NKJV) 13In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise.
---
43. I am an epistle of Christ.
(2 Cor. 3:2,3 NKJV) 2You are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read by all men; 3clearly you are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart.
---
44. I am a vessel of mercy.
(Rom. 9:23,24 NKJV) 23and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory, 24even us whom He called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?
---
45. I am loved by God.
(John 16:27 NKJV) 27“for the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me, and have believed that I came forth from God.
---
46. I am more than a conqueror.
(Rom. 8:37 NKJV) 37Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
---
47. I am a witness of Jesus Christ.
(Acts 1:8 NKJV) 8“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
---
48. I am baptized into Jesus Christ.
(Rom. 6:3-5 NKJV) 3Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? 4Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection. *Only that which is of newness of life do I walk in now.
---
49. I am in Him.
(1Cor. 1:30 NKJV) 30But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption.
---
50. I am the purchased possession of God.
Eph 1:14 who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.
---
51. I am a child of promise.
(Gal. 4:28 NKJV) 28Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are children of promise.
(Gal. 4:31 NKJV) 31So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman but of the free.
---
52. I am a slave of righteousness
(Rom. 6:18 NKJV) 18And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness.

Why Should We Study the Book of Revelation?

The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants—things which must shortly take place. And He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John, 2 who bore witness to the word of God, and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, to all things that he saw. 3 Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for...

Because Revelation is the climax of the Scriptures, it is vitally important to our wellbeing that we understand it.

3. The Book of Revelation contains God’s grand conclusion of our redemption from sin, Satan, cursing, and death through our Lord Jesus Christ.

4. The utter defeat of Satan’s best plan is beautifully described within this glorious book.

B. (Rev. 1:3 NKJV) Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.

2. (Dan. 12:4 NKJV) 4 “But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.”
a. The phrase “time of the end” identifies the closing of a vast period of time in the Scriptures known as “the last days.” We are living at the end of the last days.
1. The last days began when Jesus appeared the first time to pay for our sins on the cross. (Heb. 9:25,26 NKJV) 25 not that He should offer Himself often, as the high priest enters the Most Holy Place every year with blood of another—26 He then would have had to suffer often since the foundation of the world; but now, once at the end of the ages, He has appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself.
2. So, we see that Jesus appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself on the cross at the end of the ages. In other words, the last days began when Jesus died on the cross.
3. The last days began when Jesus appeared to speak to us in His earthly ministry. (Heb. 1:1, 2 NKJV) God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, 2 has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds;

3. The Book of Revelation covers the last 7 years of the last days. None of the contents of its prophecy have been fulfilled yet, but the prophecy that is being fulfilled in our generation indicates that we are the generation that shall not pass away until all these things are fulfilled.
a. (Matt. 24:32-34 NKJV) 32 “Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near.33 So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near—at the doors! 34 Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place.
b. The fact that we are living in the last days is evidenced by the fulfillment of prophecy in our generation.
1. Vast increase in knowledge and travel. (Dan. 12:4 NKJV) 4 “But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.” We are living in a time of unprecedented increase in technology, information, and travel in our generation unparalleled in history.
2. The regathering of Israel. (Ezek. 38:8 NKJV) 8 After many days you will be visited. In the latter years you will come into the land of those brought back from the sword and gathered from many people on the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate; they were brought out of the nations, and now all of them dwell safely.
3. World wide outpouring of the Holy Spirit. (Acts 2:17 NKJV) 17 ‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams.18 And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; And they shall prophesy.
4. An increase in earthquakes, famines, pestilences, wars, and deceptions. (Matt. 24:3-8 NKJV) 3 Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?” 4 And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. 6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

4. (Rev. 1:1 NKJV) The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants—things which must shortly take place. The contents of this prophecy will shortly take place. People who are not aware of these things will make wrong decisions in this life. Those who rejected Noah’s preaching about the things that were coming made wrong choices.

C. I have heard from the time I was a little boy that “no one can understand the Book of Revelation.” But that is not true.

2. Jesus wants all of us to understand it. Crowns are the rewards that will be distributed at the Judgment Seat of Christ. (1 Cor. 9:24, 25 NKJV) 24 Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown.

2. The Crowns are not distributed until Jesus appears to receive the church to Himself at the Resurrection and the Rapture.

a. (1 Pet 5: 1-4 NKJV) The elders who are among you I exhort, I who am a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that will be revealed: Shepherd the flock of God which is among you, serving as overseers, not by compulsion but willingly, not for dishonest gain but eagerly; nor as being Lords over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock;” 4 and when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that does not fade away.

b. This is the scene of final examination for all believers that ever lived.

2. (Rom. 14:10 NKJV) 10But why do you judge your brother? Or why do you show contempt for your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

3. (2 Cor. 5:9-11 NKJV) 9 Therefore we make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be well pleasing to Him. 10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.

4. Judgment seat in Greek means a step or elevated place such as a throne or tribunal where champion athletes would stand to receive their rewards for winning.

5. The Judgment Seat of Christ is not a judgment of condemnation for the believer's sins. Our sins were taken care of at the Judgment of the cross. Rather, it is a final judgment of the believer's works done in Christ. (1 Cor. 3:10-15 NKJV) 10According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it. But let each one take heed how he builds on it. 11For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, 13each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is. 14If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. 15If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.

6. Crowns are given as rewards. Crowns or wreaths were conferred upon a victor in the public games. They signify public honor bestowed for distinguished service or personal worth and authority.

7. Testimony of my missing a reward.

a. Loss of reward verses forgiveness

b.
